Western Shield Label Company, a Los Angeles area label converter, recently made several investments within their pre-press department including the purchase and installation of a Cyrel® Digital Imager Spark 2530 and a DuPont(TM) Cyrel® FAST 1000TD.
The Dupont Cyrel Fast 1000 TD is a Revolutionary platemaking system that uses dry, thermal processing to produce high-quality printing plates. It is the world's first solvent-free, flexographic plate processor and further exemplifies Western Shield's commitment to being environmentally conscious.
The Cyrel Digital Imager Spark 2530 images digital flexo plates up to 25" by 30". It comes with an incorporated plate loading table and an EasyClamp II drum for easier and faster plate loading. It is also equipped with a fiber laser and multiple beam optics ensuring the highest quality and productivity at low drum speed. The optical concept of Cyrel Digital Imagers offer maximum reliability and consistency.
