Current and future Convenos Meeting Center customers will now leverage an additional audio option for online meetings, one that can bring together Skype(TM) VoIP calls and incoming landline and/or mobile phone calls on one free audio conferencing solution. As a standalone service, HighSpeedConferencing by Vapps makes free Skype connections of up to 500 possible, and provides low-cost options for calling in from more traditional phones. The integration with Convenos Meeting Center will deliver up to 20 connections in the Standard Edition of the product and up to 99 in the Professional.
Vapps' state of the art VoIP conference calling service enables Convenos Meeting Center subscribers to leverage a cost-effective and highly reliable audio component when they are bringing together multiple users over the Internet for web conferencing and collaboration. The partnership is also an example of "cross-pollination" within the Skype ecosystem, as both Convenos Meeting Center and High Speed Conferencing by Vapps were among the first business services partners to achieve certification when Skype unveiled its small business solution, Skype for Business, earlier this year.
