Contech Names Herbert Director of Rail Markets
West Chester, OH (September 12, 2014) - Contech Engineered Solutions LLC announces the promotion of Donald Herbert to the position of director of rail markets effective immediately. Herbert will be responsible for managing and developing the sales and marketing strategy for the rail market by identifying and prioritizing project opportunities in collaboration with the Contech sales engineers, maintaining relationships in the railway industry at the region and national level and influencing architectural and engineering communities.
Herbert joined Contech in June of 1991 and has held many positions within Contech including sales engineer, regional sales engineer, area technical manager and most recently – area manager drainage. Herbert has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineer from Manhattan College and a Master of Science in Construction Management from Texas AM University. Herbert brings over 23 years of increasingly responsible sales experience to his new role. Herbert currently resides in Georgia where he will continue to provide world class leadership while driving our rail market relationships.
