Company Nominated as the Asia-Pacific OSS Vendor of the Year for the Third Consecutive Time
HELSINKI, Finland-23 November 2010-Comptel Corporation (NASDAQ OMX Helsinki: CTL1V), the leading vendor of dynamic Operations Support System (OSS) software, today announced that it has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Telecom Asia Readers' Choice Awards in the OSS Vendor of the Year category.
Telecom Asia's annual awards program recognises the technology innovations and accomplishments of the top telecom vendors operating in Asia-Pacific. Nominations for 24 categories were open to analysts, consultants and senior telecom executives in September. A total of 61 telecom insiders submitted more than 2,000 nominations, and the publication's editorial team narrowed down the list of nominations in each of the categories after consulting with a team of analysts.

o This is the third consecutive year that Comptel has been a finalist in the OSS Vendor of the Year category; the company won the award in 2008.
o In 2009, Comptel's net sales in Asia-Pacific were EUR 20.5M, representing 27% of the company's overall revenue.
o Comptel has been serving customers in the region since 1992. The company has more than 30 customers in the Asia-Pacific area; these include Bharti Airtel, SmarTone, Vodafone and Indosat.
o Telecom Asia will announce the Readers' Choice Awards winners at a cocktail ceremony on 9 December in Hong Kong.
