Chrysler Group and Carfax Partner to Add Value for Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle (CPOV) Customers

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- In an effort to provide customers with value-added information and to further differentiate its Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle (CPOV) brand from within the used-vehicle industry, Chrysler Group recently announced the addition of a full Carfax Vehicle History Report for customers of its Five Star dealerships in the U.S.
In addition to a comprehensive list of vehicle qualification requirements, this vehicle history check allows Chrysler Group dealerships to select the best products for its highly successful CPOV program.
Another benefit of the Chrysler Group/Carfax partnership targets online consumers. When customers shop for Chrysler, Jeep® and Dodge CPO vehicles online, they can obtain a free Carfax Vehicle History Report at the CPOV Web site brandspankinused.com/ or at carfax.com/ . This free service is also available for Chrysler Group CPOV products on independent used-vehicle search venues such as Autotrader.com® and Cars.com®.

Five Star Certification is a comprehensive validation of the dealership's facilities, operational processes, salesperson and technician training accreditation as well as customer satisfaction survey ratings. Approximately 2,400 Chrysler Group dealerships in the U.S. are certified Five Star dealers.
