Strategic Alliance Allows NextGen Members to Market Chloride's Award-Winning Power Protection Products for Critical Business Applications

LIBERTYVILLE, IL, and WASHINGTON, D.C., March 31, 2009 - Chloride North America, a subsidiary of Chloride Group PLC, announced today it has signed a strategic alliance naming Chloride as a NextGen Preferred Technology Solution Provider. NextGen, the telecommunications industry's first IP-centric telephony integrator organization, signed the alliance agreement with Chloride North America based on its outstanding industry recognition for delivering superior UPS, power conditioning and line protector products that provide the highest degree of reliability, performance, systems availability and protection of mission critical business applications.

The alliance agreement allows NextGen Technology Group, a national network of telephony integrators providing IP-based business solutions and applications and representing $90M in revenue and service to over 30,000 customers, to market and implement Chloride's power conditioning products for advanced protection of business data systems, telephone systems, circuits, phone lines, lightning surge protection and more.

Chloride's power protection products include the CLP communication line protectors and award-winning ON® and ONE® UPS systems. At the forefront of its UPS solutions is the Sinergy S II, flexibly designed in a rack/tower configuration. Recognized by professionals for its reliability, the Sinergy UPS is offered in a low voltage (120V) model and two high-voltage (200-240V) versions (2 and 3 kVA). Operators appreciate the Sinergy's comprehensive front panel LEDs that provide a visual indication of status, load, and runtime. All operational and load conditions are indicated on the front panel display. In addition, the UPS also sends an audible warning signal at 4-second intervals indicating critical operational conditions.

"As the telecommunications industry moves away from traditional legacy TDM systems toward IP-based voice and data solutions, Chloride products will play a more crucial role in assuring reliable power protection," said Yolanda Hernandez, Director of Marketing, Chloride North America.
