Naperville, IL -- Chicago Rivet & Machine Co. engineering staff has successfully completed the General Motors Quality System Basics (QSB) Workshop at our Tyrone Pennsylvania facility. This third party three day workshop accreditation benefits our customers in the following ways: Promotes the highest efficiency process in the manufacture of parts, which immediately drives down incremental operational costs. It allows for error proofing verification within the production cycle, and maintains a proactive "fast response" philosophy within our working environment. It also creates a consistent control process on any non-conforming product and the appropriate containment measures. The QSB workshop certificate substantiates our existing ISO 9001 TS 16949 certification for our fastener division as accredited by Perry Johnson registrars. This accreditation reflects our ongoing philosophy of manufacturing the highest quality parts in the most efficient process possible.
