CDM Promotes Christina Harrison To Materials Manager

Turnersville, NJ, January 28, 2021...CDM Electronics, a premier authorized distributor of electronic connectors and cables, today promoted Christina Harrison to Materials Manager, effective immediately. The announcement was made by Lori Maeder, CDM Executive Vice President, to whom she reports directly. ”Throughout Christina’s 9-year tenure at CDM, her meticulous attention to detail, interconnect-specific competencies and outstanding managerial abilities, made her the clear choice for this newly-created position,” said Maeder.

As CDM’s new Materials Manager, Harrison’s responsibilities include hands-on involvement with the company’s overall supply chain management, purchasing, distribution, and control systems. She will specifically oversee the monitoring of inventory levels, documentation, and participate in contract negotiations. Harrison is also tasked with the establishment of departmental policies, goals, and procedures to support the company’s supplier relationships as well as further ensure customers receive unsurpassed levels of products and services.

“My goal, since joining the CDM team, has been to make significant contributions to the success of the company, its supply chain partners, and customers,” stated Harrison. “The promotion to Materials Manager moreover helps me advocate CDM’s customer- and employer-centric focus, which has enabled the company to position itself as global leader in the interconnect market.” 

Harrison joined the CDM team in 2012 as a Sales Assistant, was promoted to Sales Representative in 2014, then became a Product Manager in 2018. She was a Division 1 student-athlete at University of Maryland, College Park, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Harrison will remain based at CDM’s global headquarters in Turnersville, NJ.
