Cape Clear Selected by Irish Transmission System Operator (TSO)

London, UK - May 19th, 2006 - Cape Clear Software has been chosen by Ireland's Transmission System Operator (TSO) as the supplier of enabling technology for developing a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) platform. Cape Clear's Enterprise Service Bus, will enable the company to rapidly develop agile systems to assist the work of the TSO.
The Transmission System Operator function in Ireland is presently carried out by ESB National Grid. The functions of the TSO will in the future be carried out by a separate state-owned company, EirGrid plc. EirGrid is established as a result of a government decision to create an independent organisation in order to assist in the liberalisation of
Ireland's electricity industry and the development of a competitive market.
