Callidus Software and CelFocus Accelerate Sales Performance and Enterprise Incentive Management for Worldwide Mobile Communications Market

Callidus Software Inc, the leader in Sales Performance Management (SPM) and Enterprise Incentive Management (EIM), has formed a new strategic alliance partnership with CelFocus, a leading provider of consulting services to mobile telecommunications operators. The agreement represents Callidus Software's first industry-specific alliance and will provide mobile communication firms with industry-leading EIM solutions to improve sales performance, align sales with business objectives and drive revenue.

Today, mobile communications companies work hard to deploy effective incentive compensation and commission plans because they rely on inadequate and inaccurate legacy systems or spreadsheets. As a result, mobile communication firms struggle to keep incentive programmes in step with rapidly changing pricing, channel and promotional strategies.
Through this alliance, Callidus and CelFocus will offer best-of-breed SPM and EIM software solutions and tight integration to common mobile communications systems, such as Billing, ERP and CRM. The alliance also provides advanced reporting and analytical capabilities, and streamlines introductions of new incentive programmes. As such, joint customers should achieve better regulatory compliance and the ability to gain rigorous financial and budgetary controls on commission expenditures.

"Leading mobile communications companies have realised that the limitations in their existing commission systems cost millions of dollars every year through inaccuracy and inefficient or ineffective commission programmes," said Fernando Baptista, vice president of business development at CelFocus. "As the clear leader in enterprise incentive management and with a proven track record among some of the world's largest mobile communications firms, partnering with Callidus was a very logical decision for us."

"CelFocus has built a reputation as a trusted provider of IT and consulting services for the mobile communications market," said Vincent Salvo, vice president, global alliances at Callidus Software. "With CelFocus, Callidus will be able to provide our existing and future mobile communications customers with EIM solutions designed to align sales with business objectives and drive both revenue and corporate performance. Telco companies will see improved compensation payment accuracy, reduced administrative overhead, and increased sales force productivity."

CelFocus offers a set of solutions and services to mobile telecommunications operators, addressing its customer service, marketing, sales force, partners network and application integration needs. This partnership will combine CelFocus' services expertise and unparalleled know-how of the mobile communications market with the world's leading EIM solution to provide customers with a rapidly deployable and best-of-breed incentive compensation solution.

Using TrueComp(r) Manager's sophisticated process model technology, telecommunications providers can easily implement compensation plans with multiple performance measures to address business issues such as customer retention and product mix. Under this strategic alliance, CelFocus will function as the services lead, while Callidus will provide its best-of-breed TrueComp(r) EIM software solution together with expert services.
