C&U Americas Earns 2020 Whirlpool Supplier Quality Award
- Award recognizes C&U’s excellent commitment and support in challenging times
Plymouth, MI…C&U Americas, LLC, the North American subsidiary of the C&U Group, one of the world’s top eight bearing manufacturers and China’s largest bearing producer, has received the 2020 Supplier Quality Award from the Whirlpool Corporation. C&U Americas was recognized for consistent delivery to all regions, while helping Whirlpool build demand.
The award was presented by Liz Door, Whirlpool Senior Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer, who noted that C&U successfully partnered with Whirlpool engineering and purchasing to offer complex reduction and proactively modified their internal supply chain structure to prevent any fluctuation of delivery to Whirlpool. C&U continued to deliver the same level of quality across all regions in support of all Whirlpool’s products.
The award was presented virtually to Jason Stocker, President of C&U Americas, who stated, “C&U Americas is very proud to receive this award from Whirlpool in recognition of the tremendous work our team has done under extraordinary circumstances. We look forward to continuing our strategic partnership and providing excellence in quality and service to Whirlpool.”
