Jul 27, 2012 - NEMA's Electroindustry Business Confidence Index (EBCI) for current North American conditions dropped to 38.6 in July from 52.4 in June. While this index has been sliding since its 2012 high of 72.5 in February, July's reading is first below 50 since August 2011. Survey's measure of degree of change in current North American conditions also declining, falling to -0.4 from neutral 0.0 in June. EBCI for future North American conditions, however, climbed to 61.4 from June's 57.1.
