Bry-Air, Inc. President Buys The Company From the Griesse Family.
Sunbury, Ohio. Mel Meyers, President of Bry-Air for the last five years, has completed his acquisition of Bry-Air, Inc. from the Griesse family. The Company was started in 1964 by Art Harms, the father of Jill Griesse. Since its inception, Bry-Air has become one of the world leaders in providing desiccant dehumidification based solutions for moisture and humidity problems in commercial and industrial applications.
Mel Meyers will assume the additional duties of Chief Executive Officer. In 2003, Bry-Air was recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in Central Ohio by Business First, a Central Ohio business publication. In 2005, the Company was awarded the Marketing Strategy Leadership Award from Frost & Sullivan, a recognized leader in the field of market analysis and evaluation.
Looking forward, Mr. Meyers indicated that they have "assembled an experienced team of talented individuals with both desiccant dehumidification and HVAC industry experience and are focused on delivering the best possible solutions to moisture and humidity problems for its customers".
