Branson Ultrasonics Corporation Announces New President


DANBURY, CT - February 28, 2007 - Branson Ultrasonics Corporation recently announced the
appointment of Mr. Ed Boone as President. In his new role, Mr. Boone will have responsibility for
overseeing the worldwide operations of Branson Ultrasonics Corporation, a leading manufacturer of plastics
joining, precision cleaning, and other ultrasonic equipment. Branson is a subsidiary of Emerson Electric Co.,
St. Louis, MO.

Ed Boone is succeeding Tony Pajk who has left Branson Ultrasonics Corporation for an appointment as
CEO of Emerson Power Transmission, Ithaca, New York.

Boone joined Emerson in 1989 as Plant Manager of the Napanee, Ontario, Motors Plant. He later
relocated to the USA where he held various management positions, most recently as president of Hermetic
Motors headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri.

Commenting about his new responsibilities, Mr. Boone states, "This is a great business and I am excited
to have the opportunity to help Branson grow profitability in all regions of the world. The Branson team has

Boone holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from
Washington University in St. Louis.

Ed Boone and his wife have 2 children. They have relocated from Missouri to the greater Danbury,
Connecticut, area.
