Brady Safety Software and Services Announces New Arc Flash Safety Training

Customized training incorporates NFPA 70E and company-specific arc flash requirements

MILWAUKEE, Wis.  - Brady (NYSE:BRC), a global leader in industrial and safety printing systems and solutions, today announced that its Brady Safety Software and Services group has released a new service offering: Arc Flash Safety Training.

NFPA 70E, The Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace, requires training to occur at a minimum of every three years with documentation, and for employees to be able to demonstrate the knowledge gained from training. Brady Safety’s Arc Flash Safety Training is a custom approach that incorporates both the NFPA standard and company-specific arc flash requirements.

"Effective safety training goes beyond reading the regulation – it allows participants to apply their training to real-world situations,” says Tim Bandt, director of Brady Client Services. “Because of this, our Arc Flash Safety training is customized to our clients’ programs. In addition, our training is conducted by electrical engineers who have been in the participants’ shoes, allowing for active dialogue and interactions that enhance the learning experience."

Brady Safety’s Arc Flash Safety Training is geared towards qualified employees and engages them through an interactive format. It trains participating employees to safely perform maintenance and everyday workplace activities near or on energized electrical equipment by applying their knowledge of company-specific requirements.
