Bosch at Interpack 2011 System House for Total Customer Care in the Confectionery and Food Industries

Expansion of 'one-stop shopping' concept

o A reliable partner for planning and implementation of integrated system projects

o High global availability

o Competent advice based on extensive experience

At Interpack 2011, in Düsseldorf, Bosch Packaging Technology is presenting its new, central project planning group "System House Confectionery & Food" for total customer care in the Confectionery and Food sectors. This is a further expansion of the company's one-stop shopping concept. The new group supports its customers as a single point of contact in all stages of a line or system project. "Due to many years of experience in implementing process and packaging solutions, as well as in project management, we are a competent and reliable partner for our customers, from concept to commissioning," states Dr Gebhard Selinger, who is heading the group.

During the planning stage Bosch advises its customers on developing tailor-made solutions. This includes a draft solution based on customer requirements, identification of preferred suppliers - where Bosch incorporates third-party system components - and the compilation of an integrated system.

In the subsequent implementation stage, Bosch undertakes coordination of all project participants and acts as a central point of contact and as the interface for all enquiries from the customer, as well as suppliers. The group manages the entire project, from initial contact to on-site acceptance inspection. Dr Gebhard Selinger emphasized: "Our global customer base puts its trust in Bosch's competence because we can offer our associates' comprehensive know-how based on many years of dedicated work, as well as experience from many customer projects and, not least, high service availability all over the world."
