Borries Responds to Sales with New Representatives


Ann Arbor, MI - In response to increasing sales in North America, Borries Marking Systems has added new representation in the United States to cover the company's market for sophisticated marking systems oriented to the automotive, aerospace and other areas of industry.

For the mid-America region, VR Resources is now representing Borries for the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Illinois and Indiana. Victor Ringpfeil is the principal involved, working out of Nashville, TN. He has a record of serving OEM industries for 27 years and is a member of SME.

In the New England area, T.U.S. Technologies is now representing Borries, with Eric Beach as the primary coordinator. The company is a specialist in the permanent marking of metals and electrochemical etching, including machines of its own manufacture. It has over two decades of experience., especially in CAD/CAM-founded production, and covers the states of Massachusetts, Maine, New York, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Vermont.

Another representative firm is Severence Bros., primarily Bob Severence, Jr.,
who-with his brother Ken-covers Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. Their firm. founded by their father in 1957, includes seven people, working out of three locations: Dallas, Houston and Tulsa. Mr. Severence is a Certified Machine Tool Sales Engineer and is a member of SME.

Borries Markers, designed and produced by German engineers in Germany,
are known for their quality reputation and low noise level. Their variety of
marking systems include laser marking, stylus and scriber markers (as well
as impact and roll marking). Most systems are characterized by high-speed servo motors to drive the markers, which feature reduced marking cycle times.
