BigMachines Continues Record Growth in Q1 2007


Customer demand increases for product configurator and quoting software; further penetration in high-technology, software and medical industries

Chicago, IL and San Mateo, CA - (May 22, 2007) - BigMachines, Inc., the leading provider of on-demand configuration and quoting software, announced today record Q1 2007 growth with over 200% growth in contract bookings and 69% increase in revenue over Q4 2006. In addition, BigMachines added 14 new customers in industries outside of their traditional industrial base including high-technology, medical, and software.

BigMachines' new customers serve a broad variety of markets including software, medical instruments, life sciences, web hosting, and industrial products. Customers added in the first quarter of 2007 include Caliper Life Sciences, NMS Communications, BottomLine Technologies and NaviSite.

In Q1, BigMachines grew their team by over 10% - hiring new resources across all areas including sales, professional services, and development. In addition, BigMachines also released version 7.2 of their Lean Front-End® software. This new release includes enhanced security and single sign-on support, expanded WSDL and web services features, and upgraded CRM integration to Salesforce.com.
