Biach Announces "Top Performers" At Its Annual Biach Owners Group Workshop

During its Owners Group Workshop, which is a three day session of technical
presentations and discussions and equipment demonstrations attended by utility
representatives from nuclear plants around the U.S. and in some instances from
international sites, Biach management recognized the industry top performers in
performing RPV stud tensioning during critical path of the plant's recent outage. The
Top Performer designation refers to sites that have performed the complete
tensioning phase, including taking elongation readings, in under 2 hours for two
consecutive outages. This is a major accomplishment since many sites have in the
past (and some still do) required 4, 6 or 8 hours to complete this work. Such time
savings means critical path costs (ranging from $20,000 / hr to $60,000 / hr) are
reduced and overall dose to crew members is lessened. Additionally, it helps the
plant to get back on line sooner and produce power.

This year Biach recognized the Turkey Point and Susquehanna plants as new Top
Performers and the Braidwood and St. Lucie sites as repeating Top Performers with
special trophies announcing their accomplishments. Several other sites achieved their
first leg of this elite status.

Biach Industries, Inc. has designed and manufactured such systems since 1955.
Its designs are used in over 90% of the US nuclear plants and in many overseas. Biach
also provides Tech Support for maintenance of its systems and outage support for
vessel head disassembly and re-assembly during refueling outages. Biach's new
systems and on site support help many sites become Top Performers.
