Berk-Tek and Ortronics/Legrand Announce ITS ETL SEMKO Confirmation of NetClear GTX 10 Gig UTP Channel Solution

New Holland, PA and New London, CT, November 17, 2005 - Berk-Tek and Ortronics/Legrand are pleased to announce that the NetClear GTX 10 Gig UTP solution received ETL testing confirmation on November 3, by meeting the latest 10 Gigabit TIA/EIA 568-B.2 Addendum 10 draft 2.0 specifications.
The test measured all required transmission performance parameters including Attenuation, NEXT, PSNEXT, ELFEXT, PSELFEXT, and Return Loss, as well as Alien Near End Crosstalk (PSANEXT), Alien Equal Level Far End Crosstalk (PSAELFEXT) performance as defined in the draft standard for transmission performance specification for 4 pair 100 ohm augmented Category 6 cabling. The tests were conducted on NetClear GTX 4-connector 100 meter channel in 6 around 1 bundled configuration.
