Bauer Built Announces New Commercial and Mechanical Facility in Minnesota

Tad Bauer, President of Bauer Built, Inc. of Durand, Wisconsin announces the opening of a new location in Eagan, MN. The new location will be Bauer Built’s 3rd location in the Minneapolis / St. Paul market. The new facility will be open for business on November 18, 2019. According to Bauer, this acquisition is the result of continuing efforts by Bauer Built to expand their existing operation as part of their overall growth strategy.

The new facility will have 6 full bays able to accommodate 11 tractors or 5 tractor trailers or a combination of both. Bauer Built will offer its full line of truck tires from Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, Michelin Retreads, Continental, General, and Galaxy.

In addition to tire and related services, the Eagan Location will offer an array of Mechanical services for fleet customers along with Mobile service in the Minneapolis / St. Paul Metro.

Bauer Built, founded in 1944 by G. F. “Sam” Bauer, has been in business over 75 years. The original business was a bulk petroleum business but shortly after, in January 1945 the company began selling tires and related services. With the new location, Bauer Built has 38 Tire and Service Centers, 2 Distribution Centers, 7 Michelin Retread plants, and 3 wheel-refinishing operations, all spread across 10 Midwest states. They also continue to operate the bulk petroleum business referred to as Bauer Built Oil out of their headquarters in Durand.
