Barclay Mechanical Replaces Storm-Water Piping

Dec 22, 2017 - Barclay Mechanical replaced damaged, storm-water piping at Holly Refinery with High-density polyethylene (HDPE) piping. The original piping had begun to deteriorate, creating a potential for the pipes to be ineffective.

Storm-water piping ensures all prospective refinery debris are carried through correct underground piping during and after a rain storm and carried to the correct water purifying facility. With the current pipes weakening, the refinery needed to hire a general contractor, Barclay Mechanical, to fabricate new HDPE pipes, extract old pipes and install new pipes.
