Barclay Mechanical Recertifies Jet Fuel Storage Tanks for North Dakota Airforce Base
December 22, 2017 - Barclay Mechanical completed the necessary fabrications on jet fuel storage tanks on an air force base in North Dakota in order to bring the tanks back up to the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) 653 code.
The job included fabricating new manwaves, stairs and platforms, gauge stilling wells, multiple nozzle penetrations, and floor plate repair.
Barclay worked in conjunction with Redd Engineering and Environmental Chemical Corporation (ECC) to recertify these jet fuel storage tanks.
