Band Saw Welding and Welder Maintenance Seminar

T. L. Fahringer Company, a world leading manufacturer of band saw blade welding equipment, announced last month they will be hosting a band saw blade welding seminar for the International Saw and Knife Association (ISKA). Diamond Saw from Chaffee, New York will also be on hand to discuss the area of bandsaw blade applications. The two-day seminar, entitled "Band Saw Welding and Welder Maintenance", will be held at the T. L. Fahringer facility in Tampa, Florida on October 26 - 27, 2007.

Tom Fahringer, president of T. L. Fahringer Company, explains, "Poor welder maintenance and poor operator training are the major reasons band saw welds break prematurely. When the ISKA board members John Mabee and Fred Oleson asked us to host this event, we gladly accepted. Our goal for this seminar is to provide attendees the opportunity for maximum hands-on experience in an effort to reduce weld breakage and returns by training them on proper maintenance and welding technique." The seminar is designed to offer attendees an experience more valuable than the typical event built around trade shows and speeches. It will give them a unique opportunity to gain knowledge that can be applied to day-to-day activities. Each attendee will be able to weld with the welders as well as troubleshoot and fix problems. There will be open discussions throughout the seminar between the attendees and the T. L. Fahringer and Diamond Saw representatives.
