Ball Acquires Two Metal End and Closure Plants in U.S.


BROOMFIELD, Colo. – Ball Corporation (NYSE: BLL) today completed its acquisition of Sonoco's metal end and closure facilities in Canton, Ohio. The Canton plants, which employ approximately 100 people and produce multiple-sized closures for the food can market, will become part of Ball's global metal food and household products packaging division.
