At IMTS 2006, Fischer Precise USA Will Show Broad Capabilities Of World's #1 Provider Of High Performance Spindle Solutions
Racine, Wisconsin, USA- June 6, 2006 .... For IMTS September 6-13 in Chicago, Fischer Precise USA will show its wide range of spindle solutions in Booth D-4719 at McCormick Place. Fischer Precise USA has been created from the recent union of two highly respected companies, Fischer AG and The Precise Corporation, to create a strong player for high performance spindles used in machine tools. The result is an unprecedented capability to provide the customer the benefit of the widest range of technology-driven spindle solutions from a single source, not only in engineered products but also in worldwide service and support programs.
Customers can now specify cost effective spindle solutions based on the full range of the combined Fischer and Precise product lines: spindle speed up to 200,000 rpm, power output up to 100 kW, and choice of ball bearing, air bearing, or hydrostatic bearing.
A focus at IMTS will be to show spindle solutions in the aerospace, automotive, electronics, medical/optical, and mold & die markets. Technological innovations in the areas of micromachining and spindle monitoring using SmartVision software will also be highlighted. During the Competitive Manufacturers Conference at IMTS, Fischer Precise USA will present a session on "New Technology Innovations to Consider in Motorized Spindles".
A highlight in the booth will be a presentation of SmartVision, a new spindle monitoring package from Fischer Precise USA to remotely monitor spindle performance criteria to optimize spindle running life. A user can monitor in real time spindle speed, spindle load, temperature, vibration, and other parameters via PC.
In addition a new spindle motor configuration, with power of up to 150 kW and high speed capability, will also be shown.
