Ashland Casting Solutions Names Negoro Commercial Director of Asia
DUBLIN, Ohio - Shigeo Negoro has been named commercial director of Asia for Ashland Casting Solutions, a business group of Ashland Performance Materials, a division of Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH). Negoro will report to Mike Swartzlander, general manager of Casting Solutions, and vice president, Ashland Performance Materials.
Negoro, a native of Tokyo, joined Hodogaya Chemical Company Ltd. in 1970, serving the company with increasing responsibilities until being named president of the Hodogaya Ashland Company Ltd. joint venture in 2001. Ashland's recent acquisition of Hodogaya's joint venture shares provided the opportunity for Negoro to also head the newly formed Ashland Casting Solutions Japan, as part of his role as commercial director.
