ARx(TM) Division of Adhesives Research Hires Quality Director and Quality Systems Manager


GLEN ROCK, Pa. (August 28, 2006) - ARx(TM) , LLC, a subsidiary of Adhesives Research, a leading global developer and manufacturer of high-performance pressure-sensitive adhesives, tapes, specialty coatings, films, and laminates, is pleased to announce the hiring of Richard Tumbusch as Quality Director and Michael Stanley as Quality Systems Manager.

Richard Tumbusch comes to Adhesives Research from Wyeth Biotech, where he worked as Associate Director for Global Quality Operations and helped in the design of quality systems to meet current industry and regulatory standards. He also was responsible for on-site support for remediation of internal audit and board of health inspections observations. He was also with Wyeth Vaccines as Compliance Operations Program Manager.

Tumbusch has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing business and is an American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Auditor. A resident of Marietta, Pa., Tumbusch holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Millersville University. He is also a candidate for a master's in training and development from the Pennsylvania State University.

As Quality Director, Tumbusch is responsible for assuring all ARx(TM) products are manufactured in compliance with 21CFR211, other applicable regulations and the ARx(TM) facility's quality and validation master plan. Tumbusch also ensures that the Quality department fulfills its role in maintaining facilities as defined by the FDA.

Michael Stanley comes to Adhesives Research from Zerochaos, where he worked as a consultant providing project management, engineering, and validation support for the startup of a GSK Bio vaccine facility. Previously, he spent 14 years with Wyeth in quality assurance, operations, and technical services. A resident of York, Pa., Stanley is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.

As Quality Systems Manager, Stanley is responsible for leading the development and implementation of Quality Systems in support of pharmaceutical products in the ARx(TM) division. He is responsible for supporting new product and process developments, as well as maintenance of current products.
