Aruba Networks Added to the Russell 2000 Index

Inclusion in the Benchmark Index Highlights Aruba's Performance in the
Small-Cap Segment of the U.S. Equity Market

SUNNYVALE, CA, July 23, 2007 - Aruba Networks, a global leader in
wireless LAN and secure mobility solutions, today announced that it has been added to the Russell 2000® Index and Russell 3000® Index after the Russell Investment Group reconstituted its comprehensive set of U.S. and global equity indexes on June 22, 2007. Russell indexes are widely used by investment managers and institutional investors for both index funds and as benchmarks for passive and active investment strategies.

Aruba's networks are widely used by business, education, finance, government, healthcare, technology, and retail customers to securely and reliably deliver enterprise data, voice, and video applications to users wherever they work - in the office, at home, in a hotel, on the road.

Follow-me networking ensures that users remain connected to the enterprise at all times via Aruba's best-in-class wireless LANs, as well as over conventional wired networks, wide area networks, and mobile phone networks. Follow-me security enshrouds users with the same level of protection when they travel as they enjoy in the office. Innovative business continuity solutions allow executives and staff to work from home or back-up locations in the event of a natural or man-made disaster.

"The inclusion of Aruba in the Russell 2000 and 3000 Indexes speaks very favorably about our momentum in the market," said Dominic Orr, Aruba's president and CEO. "This event is especially significant given that we are a newly public company. Russell is a highly regarded benchmark, and we hope that our inclusion will generate additional institutional investor interest in the company and our stock."

The annual reconstitution of the Russell 2000 captures the 2000 largest U.S. stocks as of the end of May, ranking them by total market capitalization. The largest 3000 ranked companies become the Russell 3000.
