ARM International Updates its 1st Annual Latin American Division (LAD) Conference

Conference Dates Moved Up to April 30 - May 2, 2006

Oak Brook, IL - The Association of Rotational Molders (ARM) International has acted on an offer by the Radisson Miami Hotel to move into larger conference meeting space and also achieve reduced room rates, by shifting its planned 1 st Annual Latin American Division (LAD) Conference to an ideal weekend/holiday configuration of April 30 - May 2, 2006. (Monday, May 1, is a holiday throughout much of Latin America.) The new, special room rate of $119 (down from $129) will also be offered during the weekend prior to the start of the meeting.

Plans for the conference will include a full day of informative sessions on Monday, May 1. That evening, conference attendees will celebrate in the hotel's ballroom, meeting new friends from around the hemisphere.

Four workshops will follow on Tuesday, May 2, offering participants one-on-one attention. Two workshops will be offered in the morning, followed by lunch and a table-top trade show, which will provide attendees with opportunities to view and discuss with suppliers new products, materials and services. Following lunch and the trade show, two more workshops will be offered in the afternoon.

On Sunday, April 30, prior to the start of the conference, Professor Roy Crawford will be presenting a daylong Advanced Seminar in Rotational Molding. This seminar will offer simultaneous translations in English and Spanish.

Details of the sessions and workshops are currently being finalized by the planners, and will be announced very soon. Registration details for attendees and for exhibitors will be available on the new LAD Home Page, which will soon be located at www.rotomolding.org .

Members of the rotational molding industry from Brazil, Mexico and many other countries throughout Latin America are already planning to attend this groundbreaking historic event.

The site of the conference, the Radisson Miami Hotel, overlooks the breathtaking Miami downtown skyline, just 15 minutes from Miami International Airport. The hotel is conveniently located on Biscayne Boulevard in downtown Miami, close to American Airlines Arena, Bayside Marketplace, Port of Miami and South Beach.
