Arkeia Software Announces New Partners in Asia-Pacific Region

Major Distributors Signed in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand
Tokyo, Japan, July 19, 2006 - Arkeia Software, the leading provider of powerful, innovative data protection software for networked storage, today announced its extended reach into the Asia-Pacific region with the signing of seven distributors tasked with delivering Arkeia solutions to China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand.
The seven new distribution partners are responsible for sales and marketing activities in their regions, as well as providing support and other technical services to customers located throughout those geographical areas. The new distribution partners will build businesses based on the recently announced Arkeia Network Backup Version 5.5, featuring full Unicode character support.

The new distributors include StorArray Technologies in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Beijing, China; Computer Dynamics Corporation in Tokyo, Japan; Apposite Solutions Ltd. in Hong Kong; Valueline Systems & Solutions Corp. in Quezon City, Philippines; Resolvo Systems Pte. Ltd. in Singapore; BEC Solutions Inc. in Seoul, South Korea; and GrandLinux Solution Co., Ltd. in Bangkok, Thailand.
o StorArray Technologies serves the Greater Chinese market and is a fast growing data protection company with has more than 150 people and $80M in annual revenues. The company focuses on delivering high quality storage solutions including SAN, NAS, RAID, optical and tape solutions. StorArray Technologies' Chinese operations are headed by Francis Yip in Shanghai, China.
o Computer Dynamics Corporation of Tokyo, Japan provides automated backup and storage solutions for UNIX and Windows NT system environments. The Arkeia Software distribution relationship was launched this week by Computer Dynamics at the Data Storage Expo & Conference in Tokyo, Japan. Hiro Sakamoto is president of Computer Dynamics Corporation.
o Apposite Solutions Ltd. of Hong Kong provides integrated solutions & services for SME to enterprises, and specializes in the design, deployment, and maintenance of storage systems for UNIX, Linux, and Windows server environments. Recent customers include ING Asia, Cathay Holidays, NWS Engineering Group Ltd, Amway Asia Pacific Ltd, Jones Lang Lasalle Ltd, Savills Management Services Ltd, and Swire Beverage Limited.
