Apriso Partners with NEC
Partnership enables Japanese manufacturers to achieve better visibility and centralized control across their global sites from Japan-based operations
TOKYO, JAPANÂ – Apriso, the leading provider of manufacturing software solutions, today announced an implementation partnership was signed with NEC Corporation, a leader in the integration of IT and network technologies. This partnership is intended to help Apriso and NEC better serve Japanese manufacturers looking to transform their operations to become more globally integrated. As an Apriso partner trained to install FlexNet solutions, NEC will offer Apriso’s next generation Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) as a solution for manufacturers in the Japan market.
Demand has steadily grown in Japan for operational platforms to centrally manage and continuously improve manufacturing operations that span to a global scale. Under this scenario, NEC’s new solution for manufacturers, “NEC Manufacturing Co-Creation Program,” formed as a partnership with Apriso’s global manufacturing applications, can help customers better collaborate across sites. This synergy of capabilities was a driving force behind the consummation of this partnership.
