Applied Robotics Announces Organizational Changes


GLENVILLE, N.Y., August 14, 2006:Applied Robotics Inc., a leading provider of automation end-of-arm tooling and connectivity solutions has recently made some organizational changes in order to bring a more global sales and new product development focus to the markets served.

In the reorganization, Vice President, Jim Fitzgerald, will now oversee Customer Relations in addition to Sales and Marketing. Chris Lutz has been named Automotive Sales & Product Marketing Manager and will also assume the responsibilities for the European Distributor Network. Bruce Toyama will remain General Industry Sales Manager and additionally will now oversee Applied Robotics Inc.'s worldwide life science marketing initiatives. Also in the Sales Department, Walter Saxe, Market Research Manager, will now handle International Direct Sales and be focusing on developing sales in emerging markets.

These changes were effective 7/31/06 and support Applied Robotics Inc.'s global strategy as well as bring more focus to the non-distributor, direct sales customers and ensure that the highest quality of customer care is maintained.
