APICS Announces Corporate Headquarters Move in 2008



Alexandria, VA (August 14, 2007) APICS, the Association for Operations Management, announced today that the association's corporate headquarters will move from Alexandria, VA, to Chicago, IL, in 2008. APICS is the global leader in providing training and education for supply chain and operations management professionals across all segments of manufacturing, service, retail, and wholesale industries. Since 1957, individuals and companies have relied on APICS for its superior training, internationally recognized certifications, comprehensive resources, and worldwide network of accomplished industry professionals.

"Moving to Chicago will enable APICS to fulfill several important goals for the organization's headquarters including a central location, a competitive cost of living for APICS employees, and a more efficient utilization of space," stated Abe Eshkenazi, CSCP, CPA, CAE, Executive Director and COO of APICS.
