Global Provider Will Highlight New EMV Chip and Signature Technology, Gives Merchants Added Options for Integrating EMV Technology

Palo Alto, California – AnywhereCommerce, a global payments technology provider, will showcase its expanded family of mobile payments products and applications at the ETA 2013 Annual Meeting and Expo. The event is scheduled for April 30 through May 2, 2013 at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. AnywhereCommerce will be located on the showroom floor in Epson's booth, number 450. Highlighting AnywhereCommerce's participation will be demonstrations of its EMVCo certified product, "Walker", a chip-and-signature device that uses patented technology to enable EMV payment acceptance on smartphones and tablets.

"ETA is one of the most respected and well-attended conferences in our industry, and with the growing attention being paid to mobile commerce, we feel this year's event is the perfect location to showcase many of the new innovations that AnywhereCommerce has been developing," said Mitch Cobrin, founder and chief executive officer of AnywhereCommerce. "We are looking forward to showcasing a number of new solutions, including our revolutionary Walker product, which incorporates next-generation EMV chip and signature technology, to merchant acquirers and independent sales organizations that must begin supporting EMV later in the year."

In addition to the Walker product, AnywhereCommerce will showcase its full line of mobile payment acceptance solutions that are compatible with mobile and wireless printing and payments offerings. Included in the array of products will be the Rambler and Rover products for magnetic stripe card acceptance and the EMVCo certified Nomad for Chip and PIN applications.

"AnywhereCommerce has built a sterling reputation for providing reliable, secure and cost-efficient mobile point-of-sale products for providers and businesses," commented Tom Kettell, senior manager, business development for Epson America’s Business Systems Division. "We are delighted that they will join us at ETA to demonstrate how our combined solutions can satisfy the needs of businesses that are looking to accept mobile payments."
