Ampac Packaging announces formation of Ampac Flexibles unit


Cincinnati, OH (August 11, 2005) -Ampac Packaging, LLC, a diversified flexible packaging company, announces the formation of Ampac Flexibles. This combines the recently acquired Kapak Corp. (Minneapolis) and Flexicon, Inc. (Chicago) along with Ampac's existing Performance Films group (Cincinnati).
Going forward, both Kapak and Flexicon will operate under Ampac Flexibles - Converted Products and the company's existing Performance Films group will operate as Ampac Flexibles - Performance Films.

Ampac Flexibles-Converted Products is the leading manufacturer and innovator in stand-up pouches, high-end performance flexible packaging materials and rollstock for the food, beverage, medical, pharmaceutical, agricultural and chemical, industrial, health and beauty aids markets.
