American HealthChoice Updates Omnibody Scan Progress

FLOWER MOUND, Texas, Jan. 25 - American HealthChoice, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: AMHIE) , a medical services company with more than 50 owned and affiliated medical clinics in Texas and Tennessee, announced today it is recruiting distributors to launch its unique Omnibody Scan (http://www.omnibodyscan.com/) and the launch will commence once clearance is obtained from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. That approval is expected by late February.

"The recruitment of high quality imaging and medical diagnostic equipment resellers to distribute the Omnibody Scan has been positive and is going extremely well," said Pat McGlashan, President of RehabCo, a wholly owned subsidiary of American HealthChoice. "We have recently met with a number of high quality resellers, with impressive track records, and have found an overwhelmingly enthusiastic reception to our product. It is clear that the market demand for the Omnibody Scan is strong. The resellers clearly stated that their customers have been looking for such a product.

In addition, we have been delayed a few weeks due to our acceptance of technical, design and software enhancements that were recommended by the manufacturer. These enhancements will further differentiate our product in the marketplace and produce real competitive advantages with a camera that will provide the highest level of clarity and detail available in the industry today. We have recently been advised by the manufacturer to expect full production cameras by mid-February and FDA approval as early as late February." We will provide timely updates on our website regarding the FDA approval process starting the first week of February. The Omnibody Scan is capable of full body imaging and will initially be used to screen for breast cancer and soft tissue injuries.

Dr. J.W. Stucki, American HealthChoice CEO, said, "the Omnibody Scan is capable of full body imaging and will initially be used to identify hot spots or abnormalities typically associated with breast cancer and to screen for soft tissue injuries. We are very much looking forward to the launch of this product."
