AMCA announces new board members.

During AMCA 54th Annual Meeting, new board members for 2009-2010 were announced. Art LaPointe of Construction Specialties, Inc. was chosen for President while Denis Labelle, outgoing AMCA International President, became Chairman of the Board. Michael Barry of Twin City Fan Companies, Ltd. was chosen as Vice President, while Vic Colwell of Loren Cook Company was elected as Treasurer, and George Atkinson of Hartzell Fan Inc. became Director-at-Large on Executive Committee.

New AMCA International Board Members for 2009-2010



Arlington Heights, IL USA- On September 10, 2009 in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada during the Air Movement and Control Association International, Inc. (AMCA) 54th Annual Meeting, the new Board members for 2009-2010 were announced.

Art LaPointe, of Construction Specialties, Inc. installed as AMCA International President.

The outgoing AMCA International President, Denis Labelle, of T.A. Morrison & Company, Inc., installed as Chairman of the Board.

Michael Barry, of Twin City Fan Companies, Ltd. installed as the Vice President.

Vic Colwell, of Loren Cook Company installed as the Treasurer.

George Atkinson, of Hartzell Fan Inc. installed as the Director-at-Large on the Executive Committee.

Re-elected to the Board of Directors are Dane Carey of United Enertech Corporation, Michael Pijar of Berner International Corporation, Dr. Geoff Sheard of Flakt Woods Ltd, C.F. Yang of Kruger Ventilation Industries Pte. Ltd., and Gary Stroyny of Greenheck Fan Corporation.

Newly elected to the Board of Directors are Patrick Cockrum of Pottorff, and John Knapp of Ruskin Company.

The Air Movement and Control Association International, Inc. is a not for profit international association of the world's manufacturers of related air system equipment - primarily, but not limited to fans, louvers, dampers, air curtains, airflow measurement stations, acoustic attenuators, and other air system components for the industrial, commercial, and residential markets.
