Alphalogix Portal Services Speak out on SOA Customer Interaction Integrity

Huntington Beach, CA - March 10, 2008 - Alphalogix(TM), an IBM Business Partner today announced that they are co-presenting with their long-time customer Golden State Foods (GSF) at this year's IBM Impact Smart SOA Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, April 6-8. Their presentation, entitled "Ensuring Interaction Integrity in SOA: Iron-clad Results Across Channels and Processes," will cover how Alphalogix prepared Golden State Foods for a service oriented architecture (SOA) environment leveraging the Alphalogix Complete Enterprise Portal Solution and the Retail Supply Portal Solution made for Golden State Food's customer Starbucks Coffee. The solution comprised of IBM WebSphere Portal and other IBM and Alphalogix software solutions.

The IBM Impact Smart SOA show focuses on bringing together IBM Customers and Business Partners to talk about SOA and WebSphere software. It will also offer technical education about SOA and IBM thought leadership for line of business, CIOs and practical application for users.

Mike Bourque, Technical Services Manager at Golden State Foods stated, "We are extremely excited to share our SOA experience side by side with Alphalogix's expertise and understanding of how an environment like ours can be crafted to its fullest potential."

Using its' Complete Enterprise Portal solution, Alphalogix helped Golden State Foods, a $4B global manufacturer and distributor in the food services industry for companies such as McDonalds and Starbucks create a hosted intranet enterprise portal, complete with business process automation, collaboration capabilities, dashboard technology and effective communication channels to enhance business efficiency between their departments and communication with their customers. Additionally, Alphalogix helped GSF redefined customer relationship management with a business process driven portal solution implemented for Starbucks Coffee retail stores.

Their session at Impact will focus on what IBM calls Interaction Integrity, defined as a set of capabilities that businesses need to ensure that customer interactions with critical service oriented architecture (SOA) processes deliver expected business results, wherever and whenever the interaction occurs. This session will describe the key capabilities needed to ensure interaction integrity, such as role-based content and tasks, customized views across channels and audiences, and the trusted deployment, management and execution of process tasks across devices.

According to Bob McCandless, CEO of Alphalogix, "Alphalogix's Business Solutions methodologies have always held the same goals in common with SOA and we are continually working with organizations like GSF to produce effective end to end solutions using the combined power of both IBM and Alphalogix technologies."

He continued to say, "We are very pleased to be able to share our solutions with such a great community of minds and are looking forward to seeing how other organizations have also used these tools to create the next step in SOA and enterprise applications."

This same solution for Golden State Foods put Alphalogix ahead of the pack, as IBM honored them with this year's Lotus Award for Best Portal. With a previous win for the same award in 2004, Alphalogix has long been a leader in providing quality hosted portal solutions to its customers.
