Allied Oil & Tire Company Opens Branch in Wichita
Wichita, Kan. - March 1, 2012 - Allied Oil & Tire Company announces they will be strengthening its distribution presence in the lubricants market by opening a facility in Wichita, Kan.
This branch, which became fully operational on Monday, January 16, 2012, is located at 3619 N. Poplar St., Wichita, Kan. 67219. The building has 27,000 square feet of warehouse, office and operating space.
"Allied has achieved significant growth over the years in this market servicing customers from Kansas City," said president Steve Phillips. "We are now able to become a local supplier by purchasing a Wichita building, hiring Wichita employees and serving our customers with greater efficiency and excellent service. We are a family owned business understanding the value of being a part of the community contributing our part to help strengthen the area."
"We are involved in corporate philanthropy closely with our customers in other markets," said marketing specialist Katrina Olsen, "and we look forward to getting involved with the Wichita community as well."
Allied has had a long standing relationship with Shell and their brands of Pennzoil, Quaker State, Formula Shell, Rotella and others which are available to this market locally from Allied. These brands, along with our own Allied brand complement our service model, sales support, marketing campaigns and overall business approach on behalf of our customers.
Employees have already been hired from the Wichita area, including district operations manager Kim Holtz.

The remaining staff includes account managers James A. Castillo and Jessie Pepper, customer service representative Mika Richards, warehouse & shipping supervisor Colton Holtz, delivery drivers Jerry Branstetter and Doug Richards and driver helpers Michelle Kenny and Jeremy Kolbe. Allied is looking to hire an additional account manager in the upcoming weeks.
