All of CARLO GAVAZZI's Manufacturing Facilities Are Now Certified to ISO 14001:2004

August 25, 2010 - Buffalo Grove, IL - CARLO GAVAZZI's target to fulfil a global policy, relevant to the respect of environment, is accomplished as ALL of their manufacturing locations worldwide are now certified according to the International Standard ISO 14001:2004.
ISO 14001 is the world's most recognized standard for establishing and maintaining an effective Environmental Management System (EMS).
To obtain this certification, it is necessary to demonstrate a commitment to reduce the environmental impact through responsible and compliant actions.
As the ISO 14001 certification also requires a commitment to continuous improvement within the EMS framework, all the factories of CARLO GAVAZZI's Automation Components Business Unit are implementing measurable programs to manage and reduce the impact on the environment, due to their activity. To ensure compliance, these programs are periodically verified by independent accredited third parties (CSQ, Bureau Veritas, SGS and MSA).
