Airtrax Expands International Market Presence by Signing Exclusive Distributorship with DTA of Spain


BLACKWOOD, N.J., May 19, 2006 -- Airtrax, Inc. (OTCBB: AITX), a developer of patented, Omni-Directional technology with military and commercial applications, announced today that the Company has sold and shipped two ATX-3000 SIDEWINDER(TM) omni-directional vehicles to Desarrollo de Tecnicas para Astilleros (DTA) of Spain. DTA, headquartered in Madrid, Spain, will be the exclusive distributor of Airtrax products in Spain. Established in 1972, DTA has been designing and manufacturing vehicles for heavy loads for more than 35 years and provides diverse heavy-load mechanical equipment to the aerospace, port, iron and steel industries.

During the 8th International Logistics & Material Handling Exhibition Show May 23rd through May 26th, 2006 in Barcelona, Spain, DTA will showcase the SIDEWINDER(TM) and other Airtrax Omni-Directional products. The SIL Exhibition is a conference for dealers and machinists from countries in southern Europe, the Mediterranean basin, Latin America and Southeast Asia.

"We plan to exhibit the SIDEWINDER at the 8th International Logistics & Material Handling Exhibition Show in Barcelona. This will be the first time Airtrax's SIDEWINDER vehicles will be displayed to dealers in Europe. We expect a very positive response to the first Omni-Directional vehicles," said Gonzalo de Sebastian, a representative of DTA.

"We have completed our operational setup and we anticipate that we will begin distribution over the next six months," stated de Sebastian. "Given the contacts and sales prospects we have in government and in private industries, in tandem with the SIDEWINDER'S debut at the International Logistics & Material Handling Exhibition Show, we expect our vehicles will generate a high level of interest for what we believe is their efficient and low-maintenance technology."

In addition to receiving orders from Spain, Airtrax has received orders and shipped trucks to Panama, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa and has shipped to California, Ohio, New Jersey, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin in the United States. Airtrax has dealers located in Western and Eastern Europe, Greece and the Balkans, Korea and Saudi Arabia.
