AIM Announces Participation at MODEX 2012

Bar Code, RFID and Mobile Computing Solutions to be Featured in AIM Pavilion

Cranberry Township, PA -- The Association for Automatic Identification and Mobility (AIM) has announced its participation in MHIA's MODEX 2012 to take place February 6-9, 2012 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA, USA.

MODEX 2012 is the industry's newest expo for the manufacturing, distribution and supply chain industries. In addition to an extensive exhibit hall, the event will include three keynotes, 70 show-floor educational seminars and several collocated education partner events.

"This is an incredible opportunity for AIM and its members to take part in an exciting new venture," states Chuck Evanhoe, chairman, AIM board of directors. "While it may seem that bar codes, radio frequency identification (RFID), mobile commerce and mobile IT are becoming ubiquitous, with a broad range of applications leveraging bar coding, RFID, direct part marking, WiFi and Real Time Location Systems (RTLS), these technologies are often used at a minimal level because organizations don't fully understand all the benefits these technologies can offer when deployed throughout an operation. A visit to the AIM pavilion offers a chance to see first hand the innovative solutions available today."

AIM will host a half-day conference program on Tuesday, February 7 from 2-5 pm at GWCC. Speakers will touch on the many voices of the supply chain from manufacturing to food to pharmaceutical.
