AEI Moves to New Facility in Wilmington, MA Dedicated Facility Expands Production Capacity

Wilmington, MA - July 12, 2006 Automation Engineering Incorporated (AEi), a global supplier of high precision automation systems, has finished construction and moved into a Wilmington, Massachusetts facility dedicated to its United States corporate and manufacturing operations. The company's previous facility was also in Wilmington.

The specifications of the dedicated 16,000 square foot facility are the result of extensive planning as the demand for AEi's precision automation systems continues to grow. "We are very excited to be moving into this new facility that has been designed to optimally meet our requirements," says AEi Chief Operating Officer Justin Roe.

The new facility will include temperature controlled lab spaces, clean rooms, and laser firing rooms specifically designed for the manufacture of high precision automation systems. A new dedicated vision lab with controlled lighting will be included to augment AEi's ability to conduct comprehensive vision experiments for machine vision-controlled motion and vision analysis.

According to AEi Senior Process Engineer Natasha Tkachenko, "Our new facility includes development space for us to meet the growing demand for process prototyping. Successful high precision automation requires experimentation, data collection and analysis during process prototyping, especially for sub-micron joining technologies such as laser welding, epoxy bonding and soldering," Tkachenko concluded.
