Accutech Announces CSA Certification

Accutech's industrial wireless instrumentation receives Canadian Standards Association [CSA] certification.
Hudson, MA - November 2005 - Accutech, a division of Adaptive Instruments Corp., a leading edge, technology-driven developer, manufacturer and supplier of industrial wireless instrumentation, today announced that after a thorough and stringent round of testing of their instrumentation, they have received certification by the Canadian Standards Association [CSA].
CSA, the Canadian organization that upholds strict standards for safety and performance, granted certification to Accutech for their award winning wireless instrumentation products. "We have worked hard to ensure that our wireless instrumentation meets the rigorous standards required by CSA to certify product quality and safety for our clients. I am sure I speak for all those here at Accutech who worked on the certification process that we are excited by the prospects for serving the needs of the Canadian market" said Peter Orford, Senior Engineer.

CSA approvals include Hazardous Location rating as Class I Div. 1 Group A through Class III (Cl. I, II, III, Div. 1, 2, Gr. A, B, C, D, E, F, G); T4 (temperature -40 to +85 oC) and weather/corrosion type 4 or 4X. The radio module is also IC (Industry Canada) approved for license free use.
Subsequent to this certification, Accutech is establishing sales and service channels throughout Canada with qualified industrial instrument suppliers.
