4D Technology Earns Third Consecutive R&D 100 Award!
Tucson, AZ, July 11, 2006 - 4D Technology Corporation announced today that for the third year in a row, one of its products has been selected as a recipient of the 2006 R&D 100 Award. Presented annually by Chicago-based R&D Magazine, the Award is reserved for the 100 most innovative and technologically significant products of the past year. 4D's winner this year is the SpeckleCam(TM), a polarization based Electronic Speckle Pattern interferometer that combines two distinctive technologies to facilitate vibration insensitive, and high precision phase measurements of meter class diffuse surfaces.. The SpeckleCam's unique capabilities make it ideally suited for rapid measurements with high spatial resolution for a wide range of applications in the manufacturing and aerospace industries.
