3M Announces Agreement with Antares Advanced Test Technologies

AUSTIN, TX - 3M's Electronic Solutions Division and Antares Advanced Test Technologies have signed a global distribution agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, Antares will be authorized to sell 3M Textool branded BGA Test and Burn-In Sockets outside of Japan.

This agreement creates the opportunity to aggressively grow Textool BGA socket sales outside of Japan by leveraging the considerable sales and technical service capabilities of Antares," said Frank Little, 3M Electronic Solutions Division vice president.

"Antares' unparalleled footprint, engineering and service organizations allow us to work with customers to develop custom solutions for semiconductor test rather than simply selling a catalog item," said Matt Bergeron, CEO of Antares Advanced Test Technologies. "The 3M product line gives us another set of quality tools to address customer needs, either as a stand alone solution or paired with some of our other technologies like thermal products. 3M has been very cooperative in granting us the flexibility to quickly deliver custom solutions that previously would have been impossible."
