2021 Marks a Decade of Achievement for Chem-Trend as a Top Workplace

Chem-Trend, a global leader in the design, development, and manufacturing of high-performance release agents, purging compounds, and other process chemical specialties, was recognized by the Detroit Free Press as one of Michigan’s Top Workplaces for 2021. This marks the 10th consecutive year of Chem-Trend receiving the accolade.

“It is the resiliency of our people and their dedication to one another and our customers, especially during these uncertain times, that is our greatest source of pride,” said Subramanian Hariharan, Chem-Trend vice president and general manager -- North America. “We are delighted to see a decade now on the books as a winning company in the eyes of our employees and view the feedback as a great opportunity for us to ensure the continued satisfaction and success of our teams.”

Top Workplaces are determined by employee nominations and results from an anonymous employee feedback survey, which is administered and scored by Energage, the Free Press’s research partner for the project. Employees responded to questions about their overall satisfaction, culture, pay and benefits, leadership, training and advancement opportunities, flexibility, and amenities.

A part of the Freudenberg Chemical Specialities (FCS) group, Chem-Trend offers a comprehensive benefits package to employees. Among many benefits, the company supports employee health and wellness with daily walking breaks, encourages employees to volunteer during and outside business hours, and offers an all-expenses-paid international exchange program for children of employees. Chem-Trend is also known for its ongoing community support, sponsoring local non-profit organizations and volunteering for community-based events.
