System uses heated vacuum plate with transport belt on bottom of material being dried. Integrated heated air blower furthers drying process and helps eliminate solvent fumes. With system, screen printed materials that previously required 2 hours to dry can be dried within 30 seconds.

Jul 01, 2008 Designed for high-speed drying of water-based patterned glue and coatings, Macrowave(TM) RF Drying System selectively heats only patterned coatings on web and leaves bound moisture in substrate intact, preventing over-drying, distortion, and shrinking. It needs 1/3 to 1/5 of floor space required for hot air and IR dryers, and permits lower web temperatures. Unit can handle webs up to 120° wide and meets OSHA safety regulations and FCC standards on communication non-interference.
