Sep 17, 2009 Flame detectors FL3100H (UV/IR) and FL3101H (UV-only) detect fires and provide alarm outputs directly from detector while maintaining false alarm immunity. In addition to process variable, HART protocol permits access to device configuration, diagnostics, as well as maintenance and alarm records. Features include continuous optical path monitoring, 4-20 mA stepped output, 3 SPDT high current programmable relay outputs, and RS-485 serial output with Modbus RTU protocol.

Mar 25, 2009 MIRA4 4-color lead selenide (PbSe) sensor comes in 8.2 mm dia x 6.3 mm high, hermetically sealed T05 package that houses four 1 mm˛ detectors. Able to detect up to 4 distinct gases in 1.0-5.5 µm IR region, quad configuration lets users customize filters and select 4 distinct gases for monitoring. Accuracy is enhanced by cross talk of less than 0.5%, minimizing optical and electrical interference between 4 detectors.

Dec 19, 2008 Addressing fire and explosion hazards in bio-fuel plants, SharpEye 40/40 series includes IR, UV, UV/IR, IR3, and multi-spectral flame detectors with false activation immunity. Sensing distances reach 135 ft, and HART capabilities enable digital communications. Sealed electronics protect integrity of unit when open and heated window prevents condensation in humid environments. Additional protection is provided against hydrocarbon-based and water vapors.

Mar 28, 2007 Lumidor Impact Pro® lets one of 3 IR sensors be chosen as one of 4 sensors that come standard in multi-gas cartridge. Two IR sensors monitor for methane and other hydrocarbons, while third sensor option measures for percentage volume of CO2. Cartridge also includes sensor that measures for oxygen levels and 2 sensors for range of user-selected toxic gases. IP67-rated detector utilizes electrochemical cell and catalytic bead technology.

Jan 12, 2006 Combining optical Multi-Spectral IR (MSIR) sensor array with neural network technology (NNT) processing, FL4000 protects people, equipment, and facilities from dangerous hydrocarbon flame sources within 230 ft range. Intelligent system discriminates between actual flames and nuisance false alarm sources using 4 separate IR spectrums which sample different IR spectral areas. Flame or non-flame decision is output via LEDs, relays, and MODBUS.
